Odawa Pow Wow 2016

On one of the hottest days the capital city region has experienced this year, it was a great turn-out for the 40th anniversary of the Odawa Pow Wow. An abundance of smiles and laughter greeted the performers and the audience members with incredibly-rich dance and full authentic Native Dress.

This years Pow Wow had a special guest, speaking to the members of the Odawa Pow Wow gathering.

Ambassador, Wilmer Omar Barrientos Fernandez, of Venezuela, spoke to with onlookers via interpreter, about the special-ties the Indigenous people have throughout the Americas.
