Historic Lions Gate Bridge

The historic, Lions Gate Bridge. Built in 1938 by the Irish beer-barrons, the Guinness family. The purchased and quickly started developing the land in what is known as today : West Vancouver. The Guinness family has a long established history here in Canada and .. Vancouver. The family had also purchased and still own today , what is known as the Marine Building. The family purchased the building from a developer whom was in financial despair during the depression that started in 1929 until the late 1930's.
